Why have I called this website Camlann?
Well supposedly, Camlann was the site of
King Arthur of the Celts' last battle, where
he led an army of the light against the
forces of darkness led by his illegitimate
son Mordred. He won (of course), but at
the close of the battle Arthur and Mordred
were in single combat, and each killed the
other. His best friend Bedivere carried
his sword Excalibur to a nearby pool where
it was reclaimed by the lady of the lake.
So, it sounds good, it has a bit of history,
(however you want to believe it), and it's
easy to remember. So the homepage is Camlann.
Any problems - live with it....
The website really exists to allow the Latin,
French, Music, and Classical Civilization
departments to have a new way of providing
worksheets, prep etc, no matter where you
are. In here you will find such gems as
the dates, times and venues of nearly everything
that's happening, and a whole lot more.
I'm also going to use this to give you links
to a lot of really useful tools that are
lying around the web for free.
By the way. I'm using this as the entry Vehicle for another website I'm designing.
the link to it is here Warc Website
I've taken out the login requirement, but that doesn't mean that I can't see you creeping round, Milesy.
